Topic 3: Advice

What advice would you give to someone who wants to travel to your home country?  What should they do to get a visa?  What should/shouldn't they bring?  Where should/shouldn't they visit?

They should bring nig cases to buy so many presents because we have many cheap stores. They should visit the capital city,Riyadh. It a very big. They should visit some old paces where there are houses built in the mountains. They are very impresive. They should visit some good muesuems. 4. People visit Saudi Arabia mostly for two major reasons; religious or business. Considereing the fact that the holy city of Makkah is in the western province of Saudi Arabia, and millions of Muslims visit it yearly. Also, the country is known for its economical position globally since it is the largest producer of the oil in the world.

I would advice those who want to visit Saudi Arabia to apply early for the visa or contact the nearest Saudi Embassy.

Also, the Saudi Arabian customs vary from the American or Asian ones, so the traveler should be aware of this point. He also may want to go to the major cities to get a taste of the diversity of the country. And He ought to visit the country in March or April where the weather is nice to go to the desert, and he also might drink some oil! ;)

    1. Well, that sounds like a total different country to visit! I think I would enjoy the Coffee -as I always do. But I am not sure about the oil, is it supposed to be drunk too? I suppose that if I see everybody doing it, I could give it a try.

  6. My country Korea has clear four seasons, so you should visit Korea each seasons to enjoy different experiences. You should visit Jeju Island that was selected as the seven best landscape in the world. Also you should visit the capital of Korea, Seoul. There are many relics and historic sites in city. You can see the old palace in a center of Seoul and enjoy various festivals every day. That may attract you. You can see coexistence of past and present and should experience beautiful cultures and tradition of Korea.

  7. You are not required to have a visa in order to go to Colombia, you just need your passport (as long as I know). It is easy going to my Country.
The first thing you should do is take a visit to Cartagena, one of the Caribbean paradises. You would find beautiful beaches, a harmonic mixed of the new city and the old city while you ride on a carriage, so you would not missed any detail. Be prepared for a tropical weather, and the breeze blowing gently on you.
Then you must go to Medellín. The city, built in the valley, is surrounded by mountains. The City of the Eternal Spring, we call it. The most kind people live in there, and you have the chance to choose between a considerable amount of possibilities for entertainment. A coffee in "Juan Valdez" is a must. Beautiful people and kind persons in a beautiful place.
Then you could go to other places, like Bogotá, our Capital, and be prepared for the cold weather. It never snows (we do not have seasons), but you can feel the air in your bones.
You should go to CoOlombia, but must have this in mind: the risk is that you would not want to leave!!

  9. Oh well let's see.
You have to apply for a travel visa from the embassy just so you can enter my country. Just make sure you have all the legal documents with you or ask some agencies to do this for you.
One more thing I want to mention here is that it would be better if you can pick up some Chinese basic greeting words since English is not so popular among the most mainland areas of China.
Most of you guys may be interested in our traditional culture, in that case please avoid the cities along the coast and go deeper in the mainland. Cities like Xi’an, Beijing, Chengdu and Guilin etc. There are still some well-preserved traditional buildings that can really tell the history of the Great China and you can experience some very unique holidays and habits, and don’t forget the famous Chinese food!!
If you want to explore the modern part of China, please make sure that you will stop by at my hometown – Shanghai, and the well-known city – Hong Kong. One thing you won’t have to worry about is that you will never get lost in shanghai and Hong Kong, even little kids or elderly people can speak English. The view of the city is really fancy and beautiful and you will have the chance to meet friends all over the world, isn’t that awesome?
Let me know if you guys want to visit China and I will offer some help if I can!

  10. If you want to go China, you will need visa for necessity. I'm not familiar with the process of applying visa, so I will explain you something about the sight spots to you. For those people who tends to high technology and skyscraper, Shanghai is the best place to go. Shanghai not only has the highest building in China but also the most flourish city in China. If you want to go somewhere with Chinese traditional culture and long-standing history, you could choose Beijing. As the capital of China, Beijing has lots of historical buildings such as the Imperial palace, the Great Wall and the Summer Palace which are all valuable for visiting. As for scenery, both YunNan and Guilin are the great places. In YunNan, you can feel delightful weather for all seasons. Those minority's cultures can be represented there incisively and vividly. In Guilin, water in the river is limpid and free of all pollution. All these places are worthy for you to have a look. Welcome to China!

  11. In Japan, you can enjoy beautiful scenery depending on each seasons. For example, if you want to enjoy beautiful sea, you should go to Okinawa. But you should avoid going there from the end of summer to the middle of September. It's because many typhoons come. Then in Kyoto, there are many temples. If you want to go there, you should go there around October or November. The scenery which has temples and colorful trees are really amazing.

In summer, it is really humid. So if you don't like hot weather, you shouldn't go there around summer.
I think spring is the best season. If you go in spring, you must see cherry blossoms. You should go near castles to enjoy beautiful landscape.

I don't know the detail about visa. But in order to get VISA, you must go to Japanese embassy. If you can get tourist visa, you can stay there up to 90 days.

And don't forget to eat Japanese food:-)

  12. I think most people may not need visa to go to Taiwan. Taiwan is a friendly country and welcome foreigners. The weather of Taiwan is good. We don't have four seasons actually. Summer is the longest season in Taiwan, especially in southern Taiwan. Most foreigners may visit Sun Moon Lake, which is beautiful place and worthy to visit. In the end of Summer, there will hold an activity for swimming across the lake. Near ten thousand people will attend this activity including children and elders. The nightmarket in Taiwan is also famous. There are variety of very delicious foods in different nightmarket. If you want to buy clothes or accessories, welcome to Wufenpu. This is the biggest shopping area in Taipei.
